Humanitarian World Congress in Berlin
Year after year, the Humanitarian Congress Berlin welcomes more than eight hundred worldwide experts on humanitarian action. The aim is to discuss the problems that invade today’s humanitarian sector.
The worrying situation in which millions of people see themselves forced to flee their homes, their country and struggle for a place to live in dignity and peace, is this year’s recurrent theme. This brought this year’s edition to focus on ‘Advocacy in human dignity in times of crisis’ under the slogan ‘no more excuses’ which pushes people to find solutions to this inhuman situation.
With over 20 panel talks and debates, the 4th and 5th october in Berlin attendees could gain deeper knowledge on children in armed conflicts, abuses and sexual exploitation as well as transversal matters such as inclusion and financials.
The forum counted on the presence of Laure Salies, EU Aid Volunteers consortium coordinator, who participated together with a group of experts in the talk ‘UPDATES: INTRODUCING NEW REPORTS AND INITIATIVES‘.
