On May 24th, volunteers from a range of disciplines came together for a social to share personal knowledge and experiences regarding volunteering at Dokters van de Wereld, in Amsterdam.

The event consisted of collaborative discussions, drinks, and a fun team building activity.

The team building task entailed the coordination of a ‘pop up choir’. After being split up into three groups, teams were then required to achieve a variety of goals. For instance, one objective was to sing a song in three different tones. The result of the light hearted game was the inclusion and cooperation of a diverse team, which in the end brought the members closer together.

This event was proof that music truly does bring people together.
